BUYING A COMPANY

Sometimes in the course of growing your business, you may acquire another company, buy a competitor, or add somebody to the process. It may be a vertical integration, or it may be a horizontal integration. You may choose to bring in a competitor, customer or supplier to make your company run better. We've seen and studied acquisition situations, and we understand the process of bringing in and growing your business through acquiring others.

There are very specific documents which will need to be reviewed. There is a due diligence process or researching of each side that's completed to make sure that the business is set-up properly. We help to make sure that the acquisition goes smoothly and that economic interests are protected just in case there is any problem with the documentations or disclosures made during the acquisition process. We work with our clients on guiding them through this process and by making sure that certain protections are in place and that the acquisition and transition go as smoothly as possible.
